I’ve never been bored in my life. Ever.

From as early as I can remember, I’ve been consumed with the feeling that there are more things that I want to see and do than I’ll have time for in one lifetime. I’ve explored Antarctica and Africa and a bunch of places in between, moved more times than I can count on both hands, and worked at a handful of weird jobs – many of which I hated, but none of which I’ve regretted. Even selling knife sets door-to-door. Seriously.

But I’ve always loved to write, and I’m so grateful that I now get to fill my days playing pretend on paper (okay, so it’s a laptop… but paper sounds so much more poetic). And turns out it’s a perfect fit: I’m an introvert by nature, so this way I get to experience the thrill of being the boldest guest at a party or the toughest leader during a wild revolt – without even having to raise my voice.
